Our Mission Statement
Our mission, as a working organization of the Fontana Chamber of Commerce, is to bring business owners, executives, independent contractors and representatives of business related organizations, who are Chamber members or prospective members of the Chamber, together to develop
cooperative business relationships. In these relationships, members:
· Share
experiences and learn business skills, sales and marketing
strategies and techniques for growing their businesses
and attracting
new customers and clients
· Promote
their businesses and support the businesses of other members
· Give
and receive referrals
· Support
other activities of the Chamber of Commerce
Meeting guidelines
The BCN meets every Tuesday morning. Sign in begins at 6:45 am and the meeting begins promptly at 7:00 am. We ask that you respect the start time and arrive early for extra networking time.
The BCN is open to all Chamber Members and their guests. Members are to pay $5.00 each week. You may pay for multiple weeks in advance.
Guests are encouraged and welcome to attend at no charge for two meetings. Then they must join the Chamber in order to continue to come. A board member will contact all guests within the
week of their attendance to set an appointment to meet with them to discuss membership benefits. Guests are not to hand out brochures or flyers to promote their business while visiting. This is a privilege for chamber members.

Introductions
Your introduction should include your name, the company that you represent, a brief description of what you do and the type of referral that you are looking for through the BCN. Introductions should last approx. 30 seconds.
Speakers / Topics
Our meetings will give members an opportunity to give a 10 minute presentation showcasing their business and provide in depth, interactive networking. These two core meetings will alternate weekly. In order to have the opportunity to
showcases your business, you must meet the following criteria; 1. Be a member of the Chamber. 2. Have attended a minimum of 3 BCN meetings in the 60 days prior to your presentation. 3. Speakers must arrive no later than 6:45am to ensure proper time to set up. If you do not arrive by 6:45am, you will give up your opportunity to present that day.
Quarterly we will invite a panel of Chamber Board of Directors to come and give updates on what is happening and be able to answer any questions that you may have. We will also have a separate meeting that will be an educational seminar on a topic geared towards helping you grow
your business with additional resources from SCORE.
Announcements
A member of the FUN-tana committee will be present at each BCN and they will be in charge of any announcements to be made. As a chamber member, you will have the opportunity to give the committee member your announcements prior to the start of the meeting. This
will help to keep our time schedule.
Additional Information
Be sure to invite new guests weekly. We will have referral cards that chamber members can hand out during the week to invite new people.
