Once you’ve set up social media platforms for your business the public wants to know about you! What is your area of expertise, background, and what are you proud of? All of this should go into the description of your company’s social media page. We also want to include a brief indication of the services you provide for example, a restaurant should include the type of food they specialize in or any special events they may have. Having a good description creates a more personal and informative profile for your business and increases your potential to attract new customers!
We’re partnering with Riches & Saint to help our members understand Digital Marketing.
This week’s tip is on how to optimize your Social Media Platform:
Your name and profile picture is the first thing people will see when searching for your business, so it is crucial to make a good impression. A personal or current logo is the perfect way to get the public engaging with your profile. For example, a bar whose profile picture is a mug of beer is less likely to get the same amount of attention as a bar who uses a sleek logo. A relevant profile picture can be the difference between a unique business or just another profile someone just scrolls by.
