ANDREA DE LEON
San Bernardino County Board of Education
Area E
Andrea De Leon is a resident of Highland, was born in Loma Linda and raised in the city of San Bernardino. Andrea De Leon is currently the Executive Director for the Highland area Chamber of Commerce and has been a public affairs consultant and small business owner for over 20 years.

Andrea holds a Bachelor’s degree from UC Riverside in political science and a Master’s degree in business administration from CSU San Bernardino.  She is a single mom who raised her son in San Bernardino County.

De Leon believes strongly that education is the great equalizer and she is a lifelong proponent of education.  De Leon believes schools should educate students for a variety of ever-evolving career options, prepare students to be college competitive, and be responsive to different student needs. She looks forward to working on behalf of the public to assure facilities, programs and classrooms are supported by well-prepared budgets and public transparency.  By serving on the board, she feels she is contributing to the foundation of support she received from public schools and the education her son received from both private and public schools.
