“Fontana is the windiest city in California, as far as I’m concerned, and we cannot have power outages as a new normal. The effects are detrimental to our residents’ quality of life and our local economy. Businesses need to have power to keep people employed, and residents need to have power to live their lives. Fontana, we are going to develop a long-range strategy to find a solution and keep our power on while balancing our need for public safety" - Mayor Warren.
The City of Fontana, alongside Fontana Chamber of Commerce and Southern California Edison, invites you to voice your concerns and have your questions answered about the Public Safety Power Shutoffs during a community meeting. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 13 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Jessie Tuner Center (15556 Summit Ave.).
